　 G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway and Railway Bridge is one of the river crossings planned in the Yangtze River Trunk Line Crossing Passage Layout Plan (2020-2035)。The bridge is located about 720 meters upstream of the existing Tongling Yangtze River Highway Bridge, and connects to the G3 Beijing-Taiwan Expressway at both ends. It not only assumes the function of replacing the Tongling Yangtze River Highway Bridge, but also carries the railway across the river, and is constructed according to the standard of four-line railway and six-lane highway。After completion, the bridge will play a positive role in the coordinated development of regional economy and the connectivity of the Yangtze River Delta。
